November Playlist

11. November Playlist '16.jpg

HEY!  IT”S NOVEMBER!  Last month I admit that I was kind of in a rut and had a hard time putting together a playlist, but it’s now November and that is going to be put behind becauuseeee November is one of my favorite months!  My music style is shifting into slower songs because it’s becoming colder out and that’s just what happens to me in the fall and winter… I think.  This playlist compares a lot to the September one, but at the same time it doesn’t because while the songs are slower in tempo, they’re not really the same genre.  They’re still totally fun to jam to (I’ve been doing it nonstop).  It contains a lot of The Lumineers and songs from two of my new founds bands Flor and LANY.  I really like these bands and hope they put more music out soon.

As always, here are my favorite tracks for the month:
Warm Blood by Flor
Rush of the Night by Dive In
Surrender by Beak Attack!
and like you lots by LANY

I had to include a fourth this month, forgive me.

October Playlist

HAPPY OCTOBER! The beginning of a great season is among us! It’s ironic that I have a song called September Song on here considering this is the October playlist, but to be fair, I make these during the previous month.

Without further ado, here are my favorites from this playlist:
Settle Down by The 1975
I Won’t Let You Walk Away by Make ft. Madison Beer and The Lost Kings
Like You Want To by Kita Alexander.

Abigail’s September Playlist

9. September Playlist '16.jpg

I can’t believe it’s September already! School has begun and things are slowing down, but that’s okay! This month’s playlist consists of slower songs and a few upbeat thrown in the mix. I really enjoyed this one because it’s slightly different music than I usually listen to. Actually, I loved this playlist, so, I hope you love it too!

My monthly favorites:
Southern Wild by Honeywater,
Back Again by Flor,
and Run by Daughter.

Much love,

Abigail’s August Playlist

8. August Playlist '16

Happy August! I usually am really excited about the start of a new month, but I have mixed feelings about it being August already. On one hand it’s exciting because fall is coming which means I can break pants and jackets back out, but then on the other it means that school is starting soon.

But without further ado, here are my favorites from this month’s playlist:
Hell Nos and Headphones by Hailee Steinfeld,
Poison by Luhx.,
and Technically Single by Tayler Buono.

Abigail’s July Playlist

FullSizeRender (2)

HAPPY JULY! Hi, I’m excited because my favorite holiday is now only three days away! I’m also excited because two uncommon songs on this playlist were heard while we were out this month and who doesn’t get excited when they hear a song they love but think no one else knows?? I know I do. Anyway, I usually list my favorites from the playlist and as the months pass it gets harder to only list two. Yet, I am going to try anyway, and fail because I already know I am going to choose three.

MY favorites are:
You & Me by Marc E. Bassy,
Eyes Wide by Handsome Ghost, and
Beware the Dog by The Griswolds.

Beware the Dog is actually a song I stole from Mary Kate (along with a couple others this month), but it’s most fun when we are driving together, sunroof and windows down, screaming it on the top of our lungs. 10/10 would recommend this. This was a very fun playlist for me to put together so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

until next time,
